Swirl Grit

The Swirl Grit (forced vortex) Collector is a compact, extremely efficient device for removing a wide range of grit by size and weight from the incoming raw sewage. The Swirl Grit deposits the collection of grit in a grit chamber removal.

The grit removal is accomplished by either an air lift or different types of pumps.

The grit removed from the grit chamber is sent to a classifier for washing, separation and disposal.
